I would personally acquire a generation 2 Ford GT. With a 550hp V8 in white with blue stripes like the one pictured above. I also wouldn’t tell my family I was rich and then I would come home and pull into the drive way they would all be amazed.
Also lets just take a minute to appreciate three of the finest American cars ever made.

Honestly this question has always been simple for me, as there are two cars that hold the pole position as my dream car: a 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, and a 1996 Dodge Viper GTS. The former in red with the center stripe, the latter in blue with the twin white stripes.

It’s not pretty. But it’s both classy and insane at the same time.
It really shouldn’t work, but I love it either way. Price is a bit steep though, but that’s what this challenge is for, right?

Singer 911 without a doubt, but knowing that they have to be built the first car that I would buy and take ownership of would be for my fiancee. A G500 4x4² in whatever color she desires.

Ferrari GTC4 Lusso (FF). I’d probably be the only person in the North East who would drive it during the winter. There’s a ton of cars I’d want to get, but the FF (new name is too long) has always stood as one of the most ridiculous cars on the road. It’s a front-mid engined V12 shooting brake Ferrari with comfortable seating for 4 and AWD. What the hell is there not to love with something so out there?

From there I think it would one offs and restorations. Starting with my 80 series I would have it completely refurbished inside and out with maybe a manual swap. For my DD I would probably get an LS600h, just because I like idea of super discrete smooth sailing.

If it’s something like the US Powerball, probably a Tesla Model S P90D... which would be my primary ‘reliable car’.
As for what I’d buy next, THAT is the real question. I wouldn’t amass a big collection of cars. But I would want to have at least one fun/interesting car... or even just a car that I’ve always wondered ‘what would it be like to own/drive that’.

A Gen 1 Focus RS from E. Yurop.
I don’t care if it’s crap. I’ve wanted one from the first time I saw a picture. And since you can’t legally import one, I would have to wait to have all the parts shipped over, buy a donor car and then combine them. I’d also update the engine to the 2.3L Duratec and do a mild turbo build; say about 250HP at the wheels. Nothing fast enough to send me to jail, but still quick enough to have fun.
If the ‘rules’ were we had to be able to drive it home today, then I’m not sure. I am quite happy with my GTI, and have gotten a mods budget approved by the finance dept (aka my wife).
I suppose I could find a tasty older ‘Yota LC and plan on updating it.
As much as I would want a 911 by Singer, I would be too afraid to drive it anywhere.
